My one complaint is that the limit was only 4 for jack, If not I'd be eating fish all month long! Captain Ryan kept us laughing all day long and catered to all of us, since my family is different levels of fishermen. The 24" Sailfish gave us lots of room to simultaneously fish. My husband caught his first ever Goliath Grouper.
We pulled in a few different kinds of keeper snappers. Moving to another spot my 12 year old pulled up a monster 31" Jack and hooked up on a huge shark too. Both times did not disappoint! It was my first time snorkeling and we used their generic sized gear which worked perfectly for me. Ryan took us to a place with lots of coral and man made structures to explore. Our last stop was snorkeling at Archer Key. We walked down to the one single palm tree on the island where we found an Edge of Heaven plaque commemorating a couples anniversary. Next up we went to Boca Grande to chill on the sandy beach with a beer. We started off with fishing for yellow jack and caught a snapper as well! After hitting our permit limit, we did catch and release because the fish were really biting! We had lots of fun feeling in our fish and only lost the occasional one to a shark, lol. Then we got back, he took great pictures of us with our fish and he cleaned our fish and referred us to a fantastic restaurant to have them cooked up!!! (See other review).
This guy is the clearly the best ANYWHERE. We’ve been on carters in Sanibel, Florida and isle of palms, South Carolina. He was conscientious of what we wanted to see/do and he made EVERYTHING happen.

He ran us around a gigantic thunderstorm in a professional and safe manner. He took us out to boca grande which was also very cool. He told us a lot of great information about the keys and the eco system. We caught a variety of fish and once we caught our limit (didn’t take long lol) he took us to see dolphins (which I had requested if we had time) and literally put us right on top of them! They were surrounding the boat at times and it was beautiful and epic. He worked diligently and quickly to get us on the fish perfectly.
